Ficus Benjamina Twilight 90cm
Ficus benjamina 'Twilight' has a big bunch of cream- and green-coloured leaves. The plant almost looks like a bush.
An elegant abundance of glossy green and cream variegated leaves creates a gorgeous weeping plant to soften any space. Perfect for adding life and structure to your room with the added benefit of helping to purify the air.
Light: It doesn't have many needs - as long as you find a bright spot away from direct sunlight, not close to a heat source like a radiator and away from any draughts, it will usually be happy
Water: Water with tepid water when the soil is just starting to dry out on the surface, but don't let it dry out completely. During the winter you can reduce the watering. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times, but do not over water as this will cause leaf drop.
Temperature: Ideal temperatures are 16-24°C. Avoid cold draughts.
Humidity: No specific requirements, although the occasional misting wouldn’t go amiss.
Feed: Apply a weak dose of a fertiliser once or twice a month during the growing season.
Air Purifying: This plant filters airborne toxins and is part of our clean air plant collection.
Toxicity: The whole plant is toxic and should be avoided by pets and children alike. If ingested it can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Origin: Commonly called weeping fig, is native from India to northern Australia.
