Aloe Humilis, also known as Spider Aloe is a species of succulent plant in the genus Aloe. It is endemic to South Africa 's Cape Province, and is a low growing, short stemmed Aloe with small spines and which grows in dense clusters.
Aloe humilis flowers are tubular, about 5 cm long with a very vivid orange color. These flowers grow in groups; at the end of stems, they can grow up to 35 cm in height. It usually blooms between the end of winter and the beginning of spring.
Light: Place the aloe in a sunny spot. A sunny kitchen window or another sunny place in your house is perfect for an aloe plant.
Watatering: Water deeply, but sparingly. Aloe plants are pretty low-maintenance, since they don't require much water.
Fertilize: During the growing season. From April through September, the aloe will grow vigorously.
Toxicity: Poisonous
