Epiphyllum Anguliger Fishbone Cactus 25cm

The Epiphyllum Anguliger - stunning, cactus with funky foliage, also known as the Fishbone Cactus, is one of the most striking cactus plants you will see. It has flat zig zag shaped stems and is pretty fast growing compared to your average Cactus. It's original home is the rainforests of Mexico but with the right care and love it will thrive in your home too.

Light: Prefers medium light conditions.

Water: Prefers more water during the warmer months, but won't appreciate sitting in wet conditions. Try to keep things lightly moist. Water as the top of the soil starts to dry out but there is still moisture at root level. In winter, allow the the soil to dry out a little more between watering.

Temperature: Needs average to warm conditions 16-25°C but will be OK down to 10°C for short periods.

Humidity: High humidity requirements. Ideally suited to kitchens and bathrooms where they can take advantage of any steam generated.Keep this plant moist by providing it with a humid environment, you can do this by regularly misting, using a humidifier or placing them on a watered pebble tray. 

Feed: Apply a weak cactus feed during the summer.

Height and Growth Rate: Trails 1-2m. Fast growing. Cut back to desired size if it gets too long.

Origin: Mexico.

Toxicity: Non toxic
